General Description:
Curramix 3500 is an advanced multi-part low temperature-cure anti-coking ceramic coating system designed specifically for high temperature metal substrates and components. This coating exhibits state of the art coating technology with exponential improvements in thermal cycling and anti-coking properties. Designed to withstand extreme temperatures up to 750°F, (400c). Ideally suited for heat exchanger tubes, tube sheets, channels, exchanger components and crude heaters. Maintains repellency at 750f, (400c). Can be done in-situ.

Application:
Below are general guidelines for applying Curramix 3500. Contact Curran International for detailed application procedures.
Surface preparation:
- All surfaces shall be clean, dry, and oil free prior to the start of surface preparation.
- Chlorides shall be less than 10 ppm.
- Minimum surface cleanliness: SSPC- SP 10, NACE 2.0; SA 2.5.
- The surface profile target .0003”/ 5 microns
- For best results use a 100-120 mesh size abrasive
- Coating shall be applied immediately after surface preparation
Environmental:
Apply when substrate temperature is between 110°F(44°C) and 140°F(60°C).
Mixing:
Mixing instructions will be provided in a separate procedure
Coating Spray Application:
• Curramix 3500 can be spray applied by siphon-fed detail gun.
• Clean tools with water or alcohol after use
Recommended Dry Film Thickness:
• One coat system for target DFT of .25 – 2 mils (6.4 – 50.8 microns)
Repairs:
Should the coating be mechanically damaged contact Curran international for repair procedure.
Storage/Shelf Life:
Store in temperatures between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C); 6 months from original shipped date.
